Metal-free oil filter elements:- economical and environmentally friendly
One particularly environmentally friendly system for the filtration of engine oil is the metal-free filter element from MANN+HUMMEL. Fuel filter elements:

Modern injection systems are more sensitive than previous versions and are therefore much more demanding regarding fuel filtration.
The new MANN+HUMMEL filter media, MULTIGRADE F have been developed for diesel and petrol engines and fulfill the highest standards demanded for fuel filter elements. By the multi-layer structure the finest particles are kept off from the sensitive injection equipment. Concerning the particle retention capacity MULTIGRADE F media have 100% higher performance compared with current cellulose media.
In Diesel fuel applications MULTIGRADE F provides nearly complete water separation. This way corrosion damages are avoided in the injection system. Combined with the high particle retention capacity, MULTIGRADE filter media provide optimal protection of the injection unit. Fuel filter elements for diesel engines are integrated in a modular housing filter system. They are metal- free and can therefore be burned without leaving residue.
In modern petrol engines life-time filter elements integrated into the tank are coming increasingly into operation.
